What is the Quick Shop?

Quick Shop enables you to directly enter the Catalog Numbers of the products you want to order, along with the quantity desired, and then quickly add those items to your Shopping Cart for checkout.

You can not save a Quick Shop list for future use at this time.

How to use the Quick Shop

There are 2 ways you can use the Quick Shop:

  • Manually enter the catalog numbers and quantity you want to order on the Quick Shop page.
  • Upload a CSV (Comma delimited) file pre-populated with the catalog numbers in Column A and the quantity desired in Column B.  For your convenience, be sure to download our CSV template found on the Quick Shop page.

When uploading a CSV file, the items you upload will appear in the top half of the Quick Shop page for your validation and review before you Add to Cart.

How to change a product entry on the Quick Shop form

Changes to your products can be made on the Quick Shop page prior to selecting "Add to Cart" button.

  • To remove a product: select the "x" next to the product you wish to remove. The page will refresh with the product removed from your list.
  • To update catalog numbers or quantity: manually override the fields that need to be changed by deleting the incorrect information then typing in your new catalog number or quantity in the fields that you want to change.

Adding products to your Shopping Cart from the Quick Shop

If you entered products manually in the Quick Shop form: select the "Add to Cart" button to add the items to your shopping cart.  You will be directed to your Shopping Cart to begin the checkout process.

If you uploaded a CSV file: your products will populate the top half of the Quick Shop form for your review.  Once you have reviewed and are ready to order, select the "Add to Cart" button and you will be directed to your Shopping Cart to begin the checkout process.

Common errors in the Quick Shop and how to correct

 

 

Incorrect Catalog Numbers: be sure to enter in complete catalog numbers and use any special characters that are present.  Examples of complete catalog numbers:

  • 17-0031-83
  • 8046-0047-120
  • IH93-0081-93
  • BMS204/3INST

Discontinued Catalog Numbers: if you have entered in a complete catalog number but you receive a message that it is incorrect or does not exist, please call or email eBioscience Customer Service to validate if the product is discontinued. Customer Service can provide you with alternative/replacement products catalog numbers if available.

Incorrect File Type (if uploading a shopping list): be sure your file is in CSV (Comma delimited) format.

Difficulty opening and saving the Shopping List Template to your desktop: If the Shopping List Template opens in a web browser rather than in Excel, please right click on the link for the Template and select "Save As" an Excel file.  When done populating your shopping list, be sure to save as a CSV (Comma delimited) file for upload to the Quick Shop.
