phospho-JNK 1/2/3 (Thr183/Tyr185) InstantOne™ ELISA

Description: The InstantOne™ ELISA is specifically engineered for accurate measurement of phosphorylated human and mouse JNK 1/2/3 in cell lysates. Detection of rat JNK 1/2/3 is expected. The InstantOne™ ELISA kit allows for fast analysis of samples in approximately one hour. All reagents used in a traditional sandwich ELISA are added in solution to a plate followed by a wash step and detection with the TMB colorimetric substrate.

Jun N-terminal Kinases (JNKs) are members of the Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase (MAPK) and Stress-Activated Protein Kinase 1 (SAPK1) family. JNK is phosphorylated on the TxY motif at residues Thr183/Tyr185 in response to environmental stress and pro-inflammatory cytokines. This activation results in the phosphorylation of many transcription factors including components of the AP-1 family (e.g., Jun) and ATF2. JNK phosphorylation is also required for Th1 cell differentiation.
