Description: Mouse Stem Cell Factor (SCF) is a hematopoietic growth factor and ligand for the KIT tyrosine kinase receptor, which exerts its activity in the early stages of hematopoiesis. Mouse SCF stimulates the proliferation of myeloid, erythroid, and lymphoid progenitors in bone marrow cultures.

Purity	Greater than or equal to 95%, as determined by SDS-PAGE
Molecular Mass	The protein is not methionylated at the N-terminal and has a predicted molecular mass of 18,298. The DTT reduced protein migrates as an 18 kDa polypeptide on SDS-PAGE. The non-reduced protein migrates as a 16 kDa polypeptide.
Endotoxin Level	Less than 0.01 ng/ug cytokine as determined by the LAL assay.
