Description

Description: The eBio4E10 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse JAML (junctional adhesion molecule-like protein), also known as AMICA. JAML is a glycosylated membrane protein possessing two Ig-like domains in its extracellular domain. JAML is expressed on polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMN), and is involved in the transmigration of such cells through epithelial tight junctions via interactions between JAML and epithelial coxsackie and adenovirus receptor (CAR). JAML is also expressed on lymphocyte subsets, such as γδ T cell lines, and can provide co-stimulatory signals for cell activation.
