Description

Description: Mouse IL-3, also called Mast Cell Growth Factor (MCGF), Multi-Colony Stimulating Factor (multi-CSF), Eosinophil-CSF (E-CSF), is produced by activated T cells, mast cells and eosinophils. IL-3 is a hematopoietic growth factor that stimulates colony formation of erythroid, megakaryocyte, neutrophil, eosinophil, basophil, mast cell and monocytic lineages. Most of these functions are enhanced or dependent on co-stimulation with other cytokines.

Molecular Mass	The protein may be methionylated at the N-terminal and without the met has a predicted molecular mass of 15,673. The DTT reduced protein migrates as an 16 kDa polypeptide on SDS-PAGE. The non-reduced protein migrates as a 14 kDa polypeptide.
Endotoxin Level	Less than 0.01 ng/ug cytokine as determined by the LAL assay.
