Violet Laser eFluor Solution Overview
One of the main challenges flow cytometry users have had in using the Violet Laser (405 nm) line has been the lack of a combination of fluorochromes that maximizes resolution and minimizes compensation. The eFluor solution for the Violet Laser is a combination of three fluorochromes with distinct spectral characteristics that provide the desired maximum resolution with minimal compensation when used together.
The Violet Laser eFluor Solution Consists of 3 Fluorophores:

eFluor vs. Traditional Emission Spectra
Normalized emission spectra of the traditional fluorophores commonly used with the violet laser (top) versus the eFluor solution (bottom). The advantageous narrow emission spectra of the eFluor solution is evident when compared to the broad emission spectra and large spectral overlap of the traditional approach. The recommended band pass filters for each fluorophore are indicated.
