Description: The IHC/ICC Blocking Buffer- Low Protein is designed for use in immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry protocols which require blocking of non-specific binding sites. This blocking buffer is recommended for tissues and antibodies with average levels of background staining. This blocking buffer can be used both in the blocking step and as a diluent for unconjugated antibodies, organic dye-conjugated, and eFluor® Nanocrystal conjugated-antibodies during the antibody incubation step. This buffer is supplied as a 1X stock solution containing sodium azide.
