Description: This 2F3.2 monoclonal antibody reacts with human zeta-chain associated protein 70 (ZAP-70), a cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase expressed in T cells, natural killer cells, as well as in developing and some mature B cell subsets. Upon T cell activation, ZAP-70 is recruited to the T cell receptor (TCR) and subsequently phosphorylates signaling molecules such as LAT and SLP-76. In addition to its role in TCR signaling, ZAP-70 has been implicated in thymocyte development.
