Description

Description: Her-2 (also known as c-erbB-2 or p185 Her-2/neu) is a 185 kDa type I membrane glycoprotein that is a member of the ErbB family of tyrosine kinase receptors.Overexpression of Her-2 is found in human breast cancer and has also prognostic significance in patients with ovarian, gastric and salivary gland cancers. Recombinant human Her-2 is a 84-90 kDa protein containing 630 amino acid residues. Recombinant human Her-2 encodes amino acid 23 - 652 of the full length protein.
