Description

Description: This antigen is expressed in mucosal lymphoid tissue and lamina propria and is a counter-receptor for CD62L and CD49d. MAdCAM-1 is involved in homing of subpopulation of memory T cells to the gut lamina propria, and recirculation of naive lymphocytes in Peyer's patches and mesenteric lymph nodes.

The 1F3F3D4 antibody reacts with mouse tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF alpha), a 17 kDa cytokine produced by monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, NK cells and CD4(+) T cells.
