Recombinant Human IL-2

Description: Recombinant human IL-2 produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated mutein (variant form) of human IL-2 polypeptide chain containing 133 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 15385.79 Dalton. eBioscience’s rhIL-2 is Des N-Terminal Met and has an Ala substitute for Cysteine at position 126.

BMS334 is fully biologically active when compared to standard. The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of murine CTLL-2 cells is < 0.0645 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of 1.55x107 IU/mg.
