  • Data for Anti-Human HAI-1 Purified.
Description

Description: The monoclonal antibody 9B10 recognizes HAI-1 also known as hepatocyte growth factor activation inhibitor. HAI-1 is a single transmembrane protein of approximately 53 kDa with an extracellular Kunitz-type serine protease inhibitor domain. HAI-1 and HAI-2 are produced in membrane-associated forms, which are secreted as active, proteolytically truncated proteins. HAI can bind to and inhibit HGFA and matripase, which are responsible for converting HGF to an active form. Human HAI-1 transcript is expressed in various human tissues, such as adult placenta, kidney, pancreas, prostate, small intestine, fetal kidney and fetal lung. HAI-1 is a marker for prostate and breast cancers.
