Cytokines are a diverse family of soluble immunomodulatory proteins and peptides which act as humoral regulators and, under either normal or pathological conditions, modulate the functional activities of individual cells and tissues. This poster illustrates the role of cytokines in mediating different aspects of the immune system including inflammation, hematopoiesis, tumor surveillance, immune regulation and T cell differentiation. Also displayed is a table which indicates functional properties of many human and mouse cytokines, and also a table outlining products that are currently offered by eBioscience in support of cytokine research.
