Description

DRAK1 and DRAK2 (Death Receptor Associated Kinase 1 and 2) share significant homology with ZIP kinase at the amino acid level. The kinase domains of both DRAKs, and ZIP kinase are homologous to DAP (Death-associated protein) kinase which is involved in the apoptotic signaling induced by IFN-γ.

Applications Reported

For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This polyclonal antibody has been reported for use in immunoblotting (WB). It has been raised against a peptide corresponding to amino acids 5 to 19 of human DRAK1 protein.

Applications Tested

This antibody can be used for detection of DRAK1 expression by Western blotting at a 1-2 μg/ml dilution. Whole cell lysate from HeLa cells can be used as positive control. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
