Description
The MAb11 antibody reacts with human tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α ), a 17 kDa cytokine produced by monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, NK cells and CD4
+ T cells. TNF-α has cytolytic activity against a range of tumor cells and is important in immune regulation. TNF-α forms dimers and trimers and also exists as a 26 kDa membrane bound form. The MAb11 antibody is a neutralizing antibody.
Applications Reported
For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This MAb11 antibody has been reported for use in intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested
This MAb11 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis of stimulated normal human peripheral blood mononuclear cells. This can be used at 20 μl (0.5 μg) per 100 μl blood (or per 1 million cells in 100 μl total staining volume).
