Description
The eBioHP40 antibody reacts with the p40 subunit of human IL-12 p70, and human IL-23. IL-12 is a 70 kDa heterodimeric cytokine composed of two covalently linked chains, p40 and p35, and is secreted primarily by activated monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. IL-23 is a biologically-related, heterodimeric cytokine composed of disulfide-linked p40 and p19 subunits.
The eBioHP40 antibody has slightly lower background staining than C8.6 and recognizes a different epitope.
Applications Reported
For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This eBioHP40 (HP40, HP-40) antibody has been reported for use in intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested
This eBioHP40 (HP40, HP-40) antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by intracellular staining of stimulated DC followed by flow cytometric analysis. This can be used at 20 μl (0.015 μg) per million cells in a 100 μl total staining volume.
