Intracellular IL-2 staining. C57Bl/6 splenocytes were stimulated with ConA for 2 days, rested in IL-2 and IL-4 for 3 days, and restimulated with immobilized anti-CD3 and soluble anti-CD28 in the presence of Brefeldin A for 5 hours. Autofluorescence is indicated by the open histogram; staining by 0.25 µg of Alexa Fluor® 647 anti-mouse IL-2 is demonstrated by the colored histogram. Total cells were used for analysis.

Description

The JES6-5H4 antibody reacts with mouse interleukin-2 (IL-2), a 17 kDa T cell growth factor and a major immunoregulatory cytokine.

Applications Reported

For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This JES6-5H4 antibody has been reported for use in intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested

This Alexa Fluor® 647 conjugated JES6-5H4 antibody has been tested by intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis. This antibody can be used at less than or equal to 0.5 μg per million cells in a 100 μl total staining volume. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
