Description
The eBioH4A3 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD107a, also known as LAMP-1 (lysosomal-associated membrane protein 1). CD107a, an approximately 110kDa protein, is highly glycosylated, and along with LAMP-2 (CD107b) is estimated to contribute to approximately 50% of all proteins of the lysosomal membrane. CD107a is expressed intracellularly on many cell types, and on the surface of activated platelets and T cells, as well as some cancer cells. It is reported that surface CD107a binds to CD62E (E-Selectin).
It is recommended to use the brightest fluorochromes (cat.
12-1079) for staining for rather than purified and biotinylated formats. Please see other formats for data comparison.
Applications Reported
For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This eBioH4A3 antibody has been reported for use in intracellular staining followed by flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested
This eBioH4A3 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis of Jurkat cells. This can be used at 20 μl (0.125 μg) per million cells in a 100 μl total staining volume.
