Questions? Please consult our answers to frequently asked questions at http://www.ebioscience.com/faq. DescriptionHuman IL-10 is a ~18 kDa factor also known as cytokine synthesis inhibitory factor (CSIF). Th2 T cells, B1 B cells and keratinocytes are the major cell subsets that produce IL-10. IL-10 inhibits synthesis of Th1 cytokines and proliferation of T cells and acts as a costimulatory signal for mast cells, developing thymocytes and Th2 response. Applications ReportedFor research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. Recombinant human IL-10 is biologically active. The intended use of the Recombinant Human IL-10 Single-Use ELISA RSG Standard is as a standard for human IL-10 Ready-SET-Go! ELISA and human IL-10 matched antibody pair ELISA. Typically the standard is run in a series of 7 doubling dilutions from the ‘top’ standard described below. Instructions for use: For Ready-SET-Go! ELISA Set (TMB substrate). Dilution: Add 6 ul of standard solution to 20 ml of assay diluent to prepare the top standard solution (300 pg/ml). For matched antibody pair ELISA (ABTS or Super AquaBlue substrate). Dilution: Add 10 ul of standard solution to 10 ml of assay diluent to prepare the top standard solution (1000 pg/ml). Note: These are single-use vials. Use one time and discard. Dilute as suggested above, not difficult-to-measure fractions of the suggested volumes (e.g., not 0.5 ul in 1.0 ml) or recovery may not be accurate. Use within 6 hours of dilution to top standard concentration. Applications TestedThis cytokine standard has been calibrated, and subsequently tested by sandwich ELISA using the human IL-10 ELISA pair (JES3-9D7/JES3-12G8). |
