Questions? Please consult our answers to frequently asked questions at http://www.ebioscience.com/faq. DescriptionThe H57-597 monoclonal antibody reacts with the β chain of mouse TCR. TCRβ is expressed by thymocytes in a developmentally regulated manner and a majority of peripheral T cells. Crosslinking of the TCR complex with H57-597 induces activation and proliferation of T cells or apoptosis based on assay conditions. H57-597 is used as a phenotypic marker for TCR β expressing T cells. Applications ReportedFor research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This H57-597 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis, and immunohistochemical staining. The H57-597 monoclonal antibody has also been reported for cross-linking the T-cell receptor (TCR) resulting in T-cell activation, and for in vitro depletion. Applications TestedThis H57-597 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse thymocyte and splenocyte suspensions. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.5 μg per 100 μl blood (or per 1 million cells in 100 μl total staining volume). It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. References
