Description
The RA3-6B2 monoclonal antibody reacts with exon A-restricted isoform of mouse CD45, a 220 kDa surface molecule. CD45R/B220 epitope is mainly expressed by the B cell lineage from early Pro-B to mature B cells. However, some activated T cells, lymphokine activated killer cells (LAK), NK cell progenitors in the bone marrow, and T cells of the
lpr/lpr mutant mouse also express this antigen.
Applications Reported
For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This RA3-6B2 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
The photo-emission properties and compensation required for Alexa Fluor® 750 are similar to APC-Cy7; however Alexa Fluor® 750 has several advantages when compared to APC-Cy7. The Alexa Fluor® 750 has peak emission of 779 nm, and usually has a slightly higher mean fluorescent intensity when compared to the same clone conjugated with APC-Cy7, which has peak emission of 767 nm. Furthermore, Alexa Fluor® 750 is considered to be a more photostable fluorochrome as compared with APC-Cy7. It is advised not to use fixatives with Alexa Fluor® 750 as this may lead to degradation of the fluorochrome and loss of staining.
This product is guaranteed for 6 months upon receipt when stored properly.
Applications Tested
This RA3-6B2 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. This can be used at less than or equal to 1 μg per 100 μl blood (or per 1 million cells in 100 μl total staining volume). It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
