Description
The O323 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD27, a lymphocyte-specific member of the TNFR superfamily. CD27 is expressed by a subset of thymocytes and virtually all mature T cells and is upregulated upon T-cell stimulation. CD27 binds to CD70, and through this interaction, plays an important role in T cell-B cell interaction.
Applications Reported
For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This O323 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
The photo-emission properties and compensation required for Alexa FluorŽ 750 are similar to APC-Cy7; however Alexa FluorŽ 750 has several advantages when compared to APC-Cy7. The Alexa FluorŽ 750 has peak emission of 779 nm, and usually has a slightly higher mean fluorescent intensity when compared to the same clone conjugated with APC-Cy7, which has peak emission of 767 nm. Furthermore, Alexa FluorŽ 750 is considered to be a more photostable fluorochrome as compared with APC-Cy7. It is advised not to use fixatives with Alexa FluorŽ 750 as this may lead to degradation of the fluorochrome and loss of staining.
Applications Tested
This O323 antibody is offered in 2 formats:
- μg size: has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of human peripheral blood leukocytes. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.5 μg per 100 μl blood (or per 1 million cells in 100 μl total staining volume). It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
- test size: has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of human peripheral blood leukocytes. This can be used at 20 μl (0.25 μg) per 100 μl blood (or per 1 million cells in 100 μl total staining volume). The pre-titrated test size contains 0.2% BSA.
