Staining of normal human peripheral blood cells with PE-Cy7 Mouse IgG1, K Iso Cntrl (cat. 25-4714) (open histogram) or PE-Cy7 anti-human CD123 (6H6) (colored histogram). Cells in the lymphocyte gate were used for analysis.

Description

The 6H6 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD123, the α chain of the IL-3 receptor. This 60-70 kDa transmembrane protein binds to IL-3 with low affinity by itself, and when associated with CD131 (common β chain) binds IL-3 with high affinity. CD123 is expressed by myeloid precursors, macrophages, dendritic cells, mast cells, basophils, and megakaryocytes.

Applications Reported

For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This 6H6 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

This tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect this reagent from light during storage and all handling steps. When staining cells with PE-Cy7-conjugated antibodies, always protect samples from light.

Applications Tested

This 6H6 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of human peripheral blood leukocytes. This can be used at 20 μl (0.25 μg) per 100 μl blood (or per 1 million cells in 100 μl total staining volume).
