Staining of PHA-stimulated normal human peripheral blood mononuclear cells with .03 μg of PE-Cy7 Mouse IgG1, K Iso Cntrl (cat. 25-4714) (open histogram) or .03 μg of PE-Cy7 anti-human CD69 (FN50) (colored histogram). Total cells were used for analysis.

Description

The FN50 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD69, also known as very early activation antigen (VEA). CD69 is approximately 30 kDa and is expressed on the cell-surface as a disulfide-linked dimer. CD69 is rapidly upregulated upon activation and expressed on lymphocytes, monocytes and platelets.

Applications Reported

For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This FN50 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

This tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect this reagent from light during storage and all handling steps. When staining cells with PE-Cy7-conjugated antibodies, always protect samples from light.

Applications Tested

This FN50 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of resting and 6-hour TPA-activated human PBMC. This can be used at 20 μl (0.06 μg) per 100 μl blood (or per 1 million cells in 100 μl total staining volume).
