Questions? Please consult our answers to frequently asked questions at http://www.ebioscience.com/faq. DescriptionThe BC96 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD25, the 55 kDa interleukin-2 receptor α chain (IL-2Rα). CD25 is expressed by early progenitors of T and B lineage as well as by activated mature T and B lymphocytes. By itself, CD25 binds IL-2 only with low affinity. However, CD25 associates with CD122 (IL-2 receptor β chain) and CD132 (common γ chain) to form the high affinity IL-2 receptor. CD25 plays a role in lymphocyte differentiating and activation/proliferation. Applications ReportedFor research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. The BC96 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. This tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect this vial from light during storage and all handling steps. When staining cells with PE-Cy7-conjugated antibodies, always protect samples from light. This product is guaranteed for 6 months upon receipt when stored properly. Applications TestedThe BC96 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of human peripheral blood. This can be used at 20 μl (0.25 μg) per 100μl blood (or per 1 million cells in 100 μl total staining volume). References
