Description
The HIB19 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD19, a 95 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein. CD19 is expressed by B cells during all stages of development excluding the terminally differentiated plasma cells. Follicular dendritic cells also express CD19. Together CD21, CD81, Leu13, MHC class II, and CD19 form a multimolecular complex that associates with BCR. Signaling through CD19 induces tyrosine phosphorylation, calcium flux and proliferation of B cells.
Applications Reported
For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This HIB19 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
This tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect this reagent from light during storage and all handling steps. When staining cells with PE-Cy7-conjugated antibodies, always protect samples from light.
Applications Tested
The HIB19 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of human peripheral blood leukocytes. This can be used at 20 μl (0.25 μg) per 100 μl blood (or per 1 million cells in 100 μl total staining volume).
