Description
The N418 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD11c, the integrin α
X. CD11c non-covalently associates with β
2 integrin to form the CD11c/CD18 heterodimer. CD11c is expressed by dendritic cells, a subset of Intestinal Intraepithelial Lymphocytes (IEL) and some activated T cells. CD11c/CD18 binds to CD54, iC3b and fibrinogen and plays a role in leukocyte adhesive interactions. N418 binds to CD11c on splenic dendritic cells in the T-dependent areas of mouse spleen and precipitates a 150, 90 kDa heterodimer.
Applications Reported
For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This N418 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
This tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect this reagent from light during storage and all handling steps. When staining cells with PE-Cy7-conjugated antibodies, always protect samples from light.
Applications Tested
This N418 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenotyes. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.5 μg per million cells in a 100 μl total staining volume. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
