Questions? Please consult our answers to frequently asked questions at http://www.ebioscience.com/faq. DescriptionThe UCHT1 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD3e, a 20 kDa subunit of the TCR complex. Along with the other CD3 subunits γ and δ, the ε chain is required for proper assembly, trafficking and surface expression of the TCR complex. CD3 is expressed by thymocytes in a developmentally regulated manner and by all mature T cells. Crosslinking of TCR via immobilized UCHT1 initiates an intracellular biochemical pathway resulting in cellular activation and proliferation. Applications ReportedFor research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This UCHT1 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. This tandem dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect this reagent from light during storage and all handling steps. When staining cells with PE-Cy7-conjugated antibodies, always protect samples from light. Applications TestedThe UCHT1 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of human peripheral blood leukocytes. This can be used at 20 μl (1μg) per 100 μl blood (or per 1 million cells in 100 μl total staining volume). References
