Description

This antibody will recognize the light chains of other rat immunoglobulins. Reactions to non-immunoglobulin rat serum proteins have not been detected.

Applications Reported

For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This polyclonal antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested

This polyclonal antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis to detect purified rat monoclonal antibodies. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.125 μg per million cells in a 100 μl total staining volume. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. In addition, it has been adsorbed and tested by ELISA to ensure minimal cross reaction to human, bovine, chicken, goat, guinea pig, syrian hamster, rabbit, sheep and horse serum proteins, but may cross-react with immunoglobulins from other species.
