Staining of C57Bl/6 splenocytes with 0.125 µg of Armenian Hamster IgG Isotype Control Purified (cat. 14-4888) (purple line) or 0.125 µg of Anti-Mouse CD305 (LAIR-1) (blue line) followed by Anti-Armenian Hamster IgG PE (cat. 12-4112). Total viable F4/80 positive cells were used for analysis.

Description
CD305 or Leukocyte-associated Ig-like receptor-1 (LAIR-1) is a 46 kD cell surface molecule that functions as an inhibitory collagen-receptor on the majority of cells of the immune system. The mouse LAIR-1 molecule is expressed primarily on monocytes/macrophages and also on T cells, NK cells and dendritic cells. Unlike human B cells , mouse B cells do not express LAIR-1. The cytoplasmic tail of mouse LAIR-1 can be phosphorylated leading to the recruitment of SH2-containing tyrosine phosphatase(SHP)-2 and C-terminal Src kinase.
Applications Reported
For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This 113 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis, immunoprecipitation, and immunoblotting (WB). It has also been reported for use in functional studies.
Applications Tested
This 113 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 μg per test. A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 105 to 108 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
