Description
The CD7-6B7 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD7, a 40 kDa type I transmembrane protein. CD7 is expressed by thymocytes, mature T cells, NK cells and pre-B cells. Signaling through crosslinking of CD7 on the surface of T cells induces calcium ion flux.
Applications Reported
For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. The CD7-6B7 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested
The CD7-6B7 antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of human peripheral blood leukocytes. This can be used at 5 μl per 100μl blood (or per 1 million cells in 100 μl total staining volume).
