DescriptionThe 1B4 antibody reacts with human perforin (pore-forming protein, pfp). Perforin is one of the cytolytic mediators present in the cytoplasmic granuels of cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) and natural killer cells (NK). Perforin is involved in the killing function by CTLs and NKs and has an important role in the immune response against tumors and virus infections. Applications ReportedFor research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This 1B4 antibody has been reported for use in immunoblotting (WB). Applications TestedThe 1B4 antibody has been tested by immunoblotting (WB) of perforin from human PBMC lysate at about 1ug/ml. A band at approximate size of 70 kDa could be detected. References
