Questions? Please consult our answers to frequently asked questions at http://www.ebioscience.com/faq. DescriptionThe polyclonal antibody reacts with mouse TLR11 and was generated using 16 amino acid residues near the middle of mouse TLR11. To date, at least twelve members of the Toll family have been identified. This family of type I transmembrane proteins is characterized by an extracellular domain with leucine-rich repeats and a cytoplasmic domain with homology to the type I IL-1 receptor. In the innate immunity system, TLRs recognize molecular patterns associated with microbial pathogens and induce antimicrobial immune responses. TLR11 is reported to bind and respond to uropathogenic bacteria. Immunoblotting with this antibody gives a MW of ~95 kDa in RAW264.7 cells. Applications ReportedFor research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. Rabbit anti-mouse TLR11 poly has been reported for use in immunoblotting (WB). Applications TestedRabbit anti-mouse TLR11 poly has been tested by immunoblotting (WB) of RAW264.7 cell lystae (1-2ug/ml). It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
