Description


This polyclonal antibody reacts with SARM (SAM and ARM-containing protein), which is a TIR (Toll/IL-1 receptor) domain containing adaptor protein thought to play a role in Toll-Like Receptor (TLR) signal transduction. In addition to the TIR domain, SARM also contains sterile alpha (SAM) and HEAT/Armadillo (ARM) motifs. SAM domains can homo- and hetero-oligomerise and are involved in protein-protein interactions. The ARM motif is a 40-amino acid tandem repeat that mediates the interaction between β-catenin and its ligands, and can form interactions with other proteins, for example, the small GTPase Ras.

For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This rabbit anti-human, mouse SARM polyclonal antibody has been reported for use in immunoblotting (WB), and immunohistochemical staining.


Applications Tested


This rabbit anti-human, mouse SARM polyclonal antibody has been tested by western blot analysis of Daudi cell lysates at a concentration of 2 μg/ml.
