Questions? Please consult our answers to frequently asked questions at http://www.ebioscience.com/faq. DescriptionHuman Fibroblast Growth Factor-acidic (FGF-acidic) is a 16 kDa protein derived from such tissues as brain, kidney, adrenal glands, monocytes, and epithelial cells. FGF-acidic stimulates the growth of fibroblasts, myoblasts, osteoblasts, neuronal cells, endothelial cells, keratinocytes, chondrocytes, and many other cell types. Applications ReportedFor research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. Recombinant Human FGF acidic has been reported for use in cytokine bioassays, and ELISA. Applications TestedThis reagent has been tested by bioassays using the FGF-acidic- responsive mouse BALB/c 3T3 cell line. The ED50, as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of 3T3 cell proliferation is 1 ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of 106 units/mg. References
