Questions? Please consult our answers to frequently asked questions at http://www.ebioscience.com/faq. DescriptionThe 1F3F3D4 antibody reacts with mouse tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), a 17 kDa cytokine produced by monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, NK cells and CD4+ T cells. Applications ReportedFor research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. The 1F3F3D4 antibody has been reported for use in capture of mouse TNF-α by ELISA and ELISPOT. Applications TestedThe 1F3F3D4 antibody has been tested as the capture antibody in a sandwich ELISA for analysis of mouse TNF-α (Tumor Necrosis Factor alpha) in combination with the biotinylated anti-mouse TNF-α XT3/XT22 monoclonal antibody cocktail (13-7326) for detection and recombinant mouse TNF-α (14-8321) as the standard. A suitable range of concentrations of this antibody for ELISA capture is 1-4 µg/ml. A standard curve consisting of doubling dilutions of the recombinant standard over the range of 2000 pg/ml - 15 pg/ml should be included in each ELISA plate. Recognition of mouse TNF-α by this assay is not interfered with by 1000x excess soluble TNF-α receptor type I or II. This mouse TNF-α assay does not cross react with rat TNF-α. References
