Splenocytes from mice pre-immunized with PLP139-151 peptide were recall activated 4 weeks later with PLP139-151 for 24 hours in mouse IFN-γ ELISPOT assay. Control well is medium alone.

Description

The AN-18 antibody reacts with mouse interferon-gamma (IFN-γ), a 15-20 kDa cytokine secreted by Th1 cells.

Applications Reported

For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. The AN-18 antibody has been reported for use in immunoprecipitation, ELISPOT, and ELISA. (Please use Functional Grade purified AN-18, cat. 16-7313, for ELISPOT Capture.)

Applications Tested

The AN-18 antibody has been tested as the capture antibody in a sandwich ELISA for analysis of mouse IFNg (Interferon-gamma, IFN-g) in combination with the biotin R4-6A2 (13-7312) antibody for detection and recombinant mouse IFNg (39-8311) as the standard. A suitable range of concentrations of this antibody for ELISA capture is 0.25-1 µg/ml. A standard curve consisting of doubling dilutions of the recombinant standard over the range of 200 pg/ml - 1.6 pg/ml should be included in each ELISA plate.
