Questions? Please consult our answers to frequently asked questions at http://www.ebioscience.com/faq. DescriptionThe TRFK4 antibody reacts with mouse interleukin-5 (IL-5), also known as BCDF-α and eosinophil differentiation factor (EDF). This 15-20 kDa cytokine is secreted by Th2 cells and exists a homodimer. Applications ReportedFor research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. TRFK4 has been reported for use in detection of mouse IL-5 by ELISA. Applications TestedThe purified TRFK4 can be used for blocking of fluorochrome conjugated TRFK4 in intracellular flow cytometry experiments to serve as specificity control. The Biotin conjugated TRFK4 has been tested by sandwich ELISA for detection of mouse IL-5 in combination with TRFK5 and can be used at 1 µg/ml. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. References
