Questions? Please consult our answers to frequently asked questions at http://www.ebioscience.com/faq. DescriptionThe MP4-25D2 antibody reacts with human interleukin-4 (IL-4), a 15-19 kDa cytokine secreted by Th2 cells. Applications ReportedFor research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. MP4-25D2 has been reported for use in neutralizing IL-4 binding and biological activity (use Functional Grade purified cat.16-7048). Please refer to the supporting protocols for more information. Applications TestedThe purified MP4-25D2 can be used for blocking of fluorochrome conjugated MP4-25D2 in intracellular flow cytometry experiments to serve as specificity control. This biotinylated format for this lot of MP4-25D2 has been tested by sandwich ELISA for detection of human IL-4 in combination with 8D4-8 and can be used at 1 μg/ml. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. References
