Description

The polyclonal antibody reacts with human, mouse, and rat RICK; the antibody was raised against residues 508-522 of human RIP-like interacting CLARP kinase (RICK), otherwise known as Receptor Interacting Protein-2 (RIP2), and CARD-containing ICE associated kinase (CARDIAK). RICK contains an N-terminal kinase catalytic domain and a C-terminal CARD domain. Overexpression of RICK induces apoptosis and activation of NF-κB and JNK. RICK interacts with members of the TRAF family, CLARP and caspase-1. It regulates TNF and Fas induced-apoptosis and is involved in the generation of proinflammatory cytokine IL-1β. The mRNA of RICK is expressed in multiple human tissues.

Applications Reported

For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This polyclonal antibody has been reported for use in immunoblotting (WB) and reacts with human, mouse, and rat RICK.
