Questions? Please consult our answers to frequently asked questions at http://www.ebioscience.com/faq. DescriptionThe H57-597 monoclonal antibody reacts with the β chain of mouse TCR. TCRβ is expressed by thymocytes in a developmentally regulated manner and a majority of peripheral T cells. Crosslinking of the TCR complex with H57-597 induces activation and proliferation of T cells or apoptosis based on assay conditions. H57-597 is used as a phenotypic marker for TCR β expressing T cells. Applications ReportedFor research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. The H57-597 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis, and immunohistochemical staining. It has also been reported in in vitro functional studies and in vivo depletion. (Please use Functional Grade purified H57-597, cat. 16-5961, in functional assays.) Applications TestedThe H57-597 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse thymocyte and splenocyte suspensions. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 μg per million cells in a 100 μl total staining volume. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. References
