Description

The A2F10 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD135, also known as Flk2/Flt3. A member of the tyrosine kinase receptor family, this 135-150 kDa molecule is expressed by primitive progenitor cells in fetal liver and adult bone marrow. Two-color staining of adult mouse bone marrow cells with A2F10 and RA3-6B2 (CD45R/B220) or M1/70 (CD11b) reveals Flk-2-positive subpopulations of B cells or myeloid cells, respectively.

Applications Reported

For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. The A2F10 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis, and immunoprecipitation. It has also been reported in blocking of Flk-2/Flt3 ligand in functional studies. Please use Functional Grade purified A2F10 in functional assays.

Applications Tested

The A2F10 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse bone marrow cell suspensions. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.5 μg per million cells in a 100 μl total staining volume. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
