Description
The MJ7/18 monoclonal antibody reacts with the mouse CD105 molecule, also known as Endoglin. This 90 kDa disulfide-linked homodimer is expressed by vascular endothelial cells. It is suggested that CD105 functions in adhesion and embryonic angiogenesis.
Applications Reported
For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. The MJ7/18 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis, immunoprecipitation, immunoblotting (WB), and immunohistochemical staining of frozen tissue sections.
Applications Tested
The MJ7/18 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse brain-derived endothelial (bEnd3) cells and splenocytes. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.5 μg per million cells in a 100 μl total staining volume. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
