Description

The eBioY418 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD49b, the 150 kDa integrin α2 subunit. The complex of CD49b non-covalently associated with integrin β1 (CD29), also known as VLA-2, is a receptor for collagen and laminin. This complex is expressed by lymphocytes, activated T cells, monocytes and platelets.

Applications Reported

For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This eBioY418 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. (Please use Functional Grade purified eBioY418, cat. 16-0498, in functional assays.)

Applications Tested

This eBioY418 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 μg per 100 μl blood (or per 1 million cells in 100 μl total staining volume). It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
