Description

The HIS17 monoclonal antibody reacts with rat CD43, also known as leukosialin. CD43 is expressed on most mature T cells, NK cells, myeloid cells and plasma cells, but not resting B cells.

Applications Reported

For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. The HIS17 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis, and immunohistochemical staining of frozen tissue sections.

Applications Tested

The HIS17 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of rat splenocyte suspensions. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
