Description
The monoclonal antibody 25F9 recognizes a protein on mature macrophages both on the cell surface and in intracellular vesicular structures. Expression is thought to correlate with endocytic macrophages and is useful in many disease models. Expression is not found on immature macrophages or monocytes or any other cell hematopoietic cell.
Applications Reported
For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. This eBio25F9 (25F9) antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis, immunoprecipitation, immunoblotting (WB), immunohistology staining of frozen and paraffin embedded tissue sections.
Applications Tested
This eBio25F9 (25F9) antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of human macrophages. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 μg per million cells in a 100 μl total staining volume. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
