Questions? Please consult our answers to frequently asked questions at http://www.ebioscience.com/faq. DescriptionThe TRFK4 antibody reacts with mouse interleukin-5 (IL-5), also known as BCDF-α and eosinophil differentiation factor (EDF). This 15-20 kDa cytokine is secreted by Th2 cells and exists a homodimer. UsageFor research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. TRFK4 has been reported for use in detection of mouse IL-5 by ELISA. Applications TestedThe TRFK4 antibody has been tested as the detection antibody in a sandwich ELISA for analysis of mouse Interleukin-5 (IL-5) in combination with the purified TRFK5 (14-7052) antibody for capture and recombinant mouse IL-5 (14-8051) as the standard. A suitable range of concentrations of this antibody for ELISA detection is 0.5-2 µg/ml. A standard curve consisting of doubling dilutions of the recombinant standard over the range of 1000 pg/ml - 8 pg/ml should be included in each ELISA plate.
