Description

The 11-44-2 monoclonal antibody reacts with the α heavy chain of mouse IgA. It does not react with other classes of mouse immunoglobulin including IgD, IgG or IgM. IgA is expressed as a membrane-bound form as well as a soluble dimer. Fluorochrome conjugated 11-44-2 is used as a detection secondary for mouse IgA.

Applications Reported

For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. The 11-44-2 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested

The 11-44-2 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis to detect a mouse IgA primary antibody. This can be used at less than or equal to 1 μg per million cells in a 100 μl total staining volume. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.
