Questions? Please consult our answers to frequently asked questions at http://www.ebioscience.com/faq. DescriptionThe eBioHP40 antibody reacts with the p40 subunit of human IL-12 p70, and human IL-23. IL-12 is a 70 kDa heterodimeric cytokine composed of two covalently linked chains, p40 and p35, and is secreted primarily by activated monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. IL-23 is a biologically-related, heterodimeric cytokine composed of disulfide-linked p40 and p19 subunits. The eBioHP40 antibody has slightly lower background staining than C8.6 and recognizes a different epitope. Applications ReportedFor research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. The C8.6 antibody has been reported for use in intracellular flow cytometric analysis. Applications TestedThis eBioHP40 (HP40, HP-40) antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis or stimulated nomral human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at 20 μl (0.06 μg) per 100 μl blood (or per 1 million cells in 100 μl total staining volume). References
