Description

The JES1-5A10 antibody reacts with human interleukin-5 (IL-5), also known as BCDF-α and eosinophil differentiation factor (EDF). This 15-20 kDa cytokine is secreted by T cells and exists a homodimer.

Applications Reported

For research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. JES1-5A10 has been reported for use in detection of human IL-5 by ELISA.

Applications Tested

The JES1-5A10 antibody has been tested for intracellular staining and flow cytometric analysis and can be used at less than or equal to 0.5 μg/million cells.
